Hello, Goodbye!

Tonight turned out different than I expected in that I got way-laid from all my plans by a UTI turned debilitating kidney infection. But, in the spirit of looking on the brighter side of things, I'm doped up on pain killers that the nice doctor gave me, and I have time to do my End of the Year post--which I nearly forgot to do, so, thanks, kidneys? ha.

So, 2013. As I've explained I think in every single post I've had lately, (woo redundancy!) it's been a hell of a year. Seriously. But even with its lowest points, I wouldn't have had it any other way (except for that part where I gained 10 lbs. I'd for sure do that differently). Oh and that running up my credit card again thing. haha... sigh.

And now, 2014 is poised to be full of huge, ridiculously sweet changes, which is 100% awesome. I feel that, for the first time in very long time, this new year will actually be a new start, not just a month of sticking to resolutions and then falling back into the spending too much money/sleeping too many hours/making too many excuses black hole that I always do.

Time will tell. But, for now, here's my overblown Instagram Review of 2013. Everyone's been making Flipagram or Statigram reviews. But, I think videos on Instagram are too loud, and I'm straight up startled every time I linger slightly too long over a supposed photo and a song SHRIEKS out at me. So, to spare other Startled Instagrammers, I'm just going to do a picture heavy update on the ol'blog. Most of these were created and then deleted, but, they get saved to my phone anyway, so I decided to give them some love. And, if you need some music for the background, please listen to this, or even this, as those songs have been stuck in my head all day.

Awwwright.

I hope everyone has been able to look back on this year and realized they grew in some way, that there's silver linings to shit. Or, learned something or even somethings. Or, just had a better year than last year.

Or, at the very least, watched and enjoyed the new season of Arrested Development.

Commence with greatness, 2014!
